Our strategic focus is to guide the Gascoyne Green Energy Boolathana project sustainably and to build a local supply chain that drives economic activity in the Gascoyne.

Adam Hamersley

Pastoralist/Director

Adam is a long-term Gascoyne pastoralist.  With direct lineage to Western Australia’s earliest settlers, his pioneering spirit and common-sense approach has enabled GGE’s journey to commence on Boolathana Station.

 

Adam’s business acumen,  borne of three decades of getting the best out of whatever natural resources are available, is an invaluable asset to the project as is the accord granted to provide GGE and our management team with exclusive access to Boolathana Station to quantify the green energy capacity of the project.

Paul Day

Director

Paul has 30 years of experience in finance and business management across a range of industries. He is managing director of Altier Finance which provides finance advisory services, assisting companies with finance, project development, and business growth. Other positions held include CFO and business management roles. 

 

Paul holds a Bachelor of Economics from UWA, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business from Monash University, Melbourne. He is a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia

James Healy

Non-executive Director

James is a lawyer with extensive experience in corporate and securities law.  James also has a detailed knowledge of the legal risks associated with the delivery of major energy projects.  


A current focus of his work is on the regulation of energy projects and the transition towards net zero, specifically in connection with delivery of renewable projects focusing on the production of green hydrogen.

Tym Duncanson

Chief Operating Officer

Tym has over 35 years experience in regional development, focusing on sustainable use of natural resources including environment, land and water management, renewable energy and transitioning to a low carbon economy. 

 

He has had more than two decades experience in both the private and public sectors covering all aspects of policy, government relations and stakeholder management.  He recently spent four years as CEO of the State Government Gascoyne Development Commission, responsible for economic and social development in the region.

 

He holds an applied science degree from the Australian National University, a Masters in Natural Resources and recently completed a Leading Economic Growth qualification from the Harvard Kennedy School.  He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Elena Healy

Manager, Corporate Communications

Elena has had decades of public relations experience working in boutique public relations firms in Perth and Melbourne and as a consultant.  She has held management roles in Sponsorship and Marketing and worked for local government in Melbourne as an in-house public relations and communications specialist. 

 

Elena possesses superior communication skills, strategic intellect and a firm grasp of diverse interests of the private and public sector.

 

She holds a post graduate Diploma in Public Relations from Deakin University, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from ECU and a Bachelor of Arts from UWA.
